Establishment 　 It was established on 1st of April 1988.  It is the non-profit organization to promote international exchange in the field of agriculture by conduction the dispatch of agricultural trainees to foreign countries and the acceptance of foreign trainees to Hokkaido.  2. Purpose 　 The association conducts comprehensive activities of international exchange covering agriculture in general.  It aims to contribute to the further development of Hokkaido agriculture and the promotion of agriculture through the dispatch and acceptance of trainees. 3. Supervising agency 　 Agricultural Administration Department, Hokkaido Government 1. Outbound trainees − Dispatch of agricultural trainees to foreign countries. 　 We bring up the human resources to become leaders of agricultural area by learning advanced production technology and upgrading the ability of management and international sense.  2. Inbound trainees − Acceptance of foreign agricultural trainees 　 We accept agricultural trainees from foreign countries, and conduct guidance and training of production technology.  Through the experience of rural life and exchange with the youth, we aim at the understanding and development of Hokkaido agriculture.  3. Dispatch of the agricultural delegation or research group to foreign countries 　 We dispatch farmers and rural women of district agriculture to get first-hand information of agriculture abroad.  4. Acceptance and guidance of foreign agricultural delegation from foreign countries 　 We accept the agricultural delegation from foreign countries to Hokkaido, guide to the agricultural facilities and expect the understanding of Hokkaido agriculture. 5.
